An upper level ridge will move over the region by Thursday night and will allow a warmer air mass to advect back into the region.
Highs on Thursday will be in the 60s with highs in the 70’s expected on Friday.
An upper level shortwave will track through the area on Saturday and should generate some scattered showers and storms across the
area. Another stronger upper level trough will then move across
the region early next week bringing additional chances for showers and storms to the area. These systems will be quick moving so not expecting much of a flooding risk at this time.
Surface high pressure will spread over the area on Wednesday and
Thursday. The cooler air mass will remain over the area with highs
in the 50’s expected Wednesday afternoon. Lows will drop into the
30’s again Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
