Nov 17 - A shortwave digging southeast from the Plains into the Midwest and mid MS Vly region today will support a weak sfc cold frontal passage today. There is actually some fairly decent lift from this system in a relatively narrow corridor as the shortwave moves through, but there is a distinct lack of deep moisture in place. Many areas will see some brief/light rain or sprinkles today along with extensive cloud cover. Better chances for measurable rain (albeit small amounts) will be over the northern cwfa.
For tonight, the system moves off to the east by early evening with dry weather with seasonable (chilly) temperatures.
