Note that I track both West Plains and Forsyth only as they share similar latitudes and rainfall patterns. And, as is evident even though Forsyth is lagging behind, the area is close to normal.
Sep 24 -The region is in between an upper level ridge to the east and a deep trough to the west. High pressure is still in control of our weather pattern today. Upper levels height levels may just be a tad lower than previous days which means high temperatures may just be a degree or two cooler than yesterday. Look for temps to climb back into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees
this afternoon. Model guidance suggest a very slight chance for an isolated shower or storm to pop up this afternoon across the eastern Ozarks area...mainly east of Highway 65 today.
